1. What are cookies? Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s device when using a website. The website also uses technologies that operate in a similar manner, such as:

2. 3. Categories of cookies

3.1. Essential cookies Essential cookies are necessary for the proper and secure operation of the website, for remembering privacy settings and for supporting basic technical functions. Cookies in this category are always active. Blocking them in your browser settings may cause certain parts of the website to function incorrectly. This category includes, in particular, CookieYes technologies used to remember the user’s cookie preferences.

3.2. Functional cookies Functional cookies enable the use of additional website features and the display of content provided by external service providers. The website uses:

• embedded Google Maps;
• embedded YouTube videos and the YouTube player;
• other external multimedia elements, where available on a given page.

When a map or video is activated, the external provider may receive information such as the user’s IP address, device and browser information, the page visited and the user’s interactions. Until the appropriate consent is given, maps and videos remain blocked. A message may be displayed in their place informing the user that activating the content requires acceptance of the relevant cookie category. YouTube videos are embedded using privacy-enhanced mode. However, this does not exclude the processing of data by Google once the player has been activated. Where specific YouTube cookies or technologies are also used for advertising personalisation, advertising measurement or tracking the user for advertising purposes, they are assigned to the marketing category.

3.3. Analytics cookies Analytics cookies and technologies help us understand how users interact with the website, which pages they visit, how much time they spend on them and whether they encounter technical problems. The following analytics tools are used on the website: Google Analytics 4 Google Analytics 4 is used to generate website traffic statistics and analyse how the website is used. The tool collects information including:

• device and browser type;
• the source from which the user accessed the website;

Google Analytics 4 is activated after the user has consented to analytics cookies. Microsoft Clarity Microsoft Clarity is used to create heatmaps and analyse users’ interactions with the website, such as:

Microsoft Clarity makes it possible to replay the course of a session based on recorded events. Form fields and information requiring protection should be masked in the tool’s configuration. Microsoft Clarity is activated after the user has consented to analytics cookies. Metricool The Metricool tracking code is used to measure website traffic and the effectiveness of marketing activities. The Metricool tracker operates as JavaScript code and transmits information about the page visited and the approximate location determined from the IP address. According to the information provided by the service provider, the standard Metricool tracker does not store its own cookies. However, it is treated on the website as an analytics technology and is activated only after the user has accepted this category.

3.4. Marketing cookies Marketing cookies and technologies are used to:

• measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
• create audience groups;
• conduct remarketing activities;
• limit the number of times an advertisement is displayed;

Meta Pixel is used on the website. Meta Pixel is used to:

• measure advertising effectiveness;
• record specific events performed on the website;
• create audience groups;
• conduct remarketing activities;
• optimise advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

The marketing category also includes technologies used by YouTube or other Google services where they are used for advertising personalisation, advertising measurement or tracking the user’s activity for marketing purposes. Marketing cookies and technologies are activated only after the user has given consent.

4. Providers of the tools used In connection with the operation of the website, we use services provided in particular by the following providers:

• Google Ireland Limited and other entities belonging to the Google group – Google Analytics 4, Google Maps and YouTube;
• Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and other entities belonging to the Microsoft group – Microsoft Clarity;
• Metricool Software S.L. – Metricool;
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and other entities belonging to the Meta group – Meta Pixel;
• CookieYes Limited – consent management platform.

The scope of personal data, the manner in which it is processed and its possible transfer outside the EEA depend on the type of tool, the configuration used on the website and the policies of the respective service providers. The service providers act as processors processing personal data on the Controller’s instructions, independent controllers or, within a specified scope, joint controllers.

5. Consent management During the user’s first visit to the website, the CookieYes consent management panel is displayed. The user may:

• accept all optional cookies;
• reject all optional cookies;
• accept selected categories;
• leave only essential cookies active.

Personal data is transferred using the mechanisms provided for under the GDPR, in particular an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework – where the relevant recipient holds a valid certification – or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
